Net Zero
Whilst the term 'Net Zero' is now commonplace, it appears many people are still uncertain as to its meaning. Xcarbon can explain what Net Zero is, the implications of setting a Net Zero target and how to get to Net Zero and beyond.
Carbon Reporting
Mandatory carbon reporting is required by quoted UK companies and all UK large companies and LLPs under the UK government's Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) regulations. Xcarbon has extensive experience of compliance reporting and can provide a full carbon and energy reporting service, as well as corporate and product carbon footprints using the GHG Protocol Standards.
CDP Supplier Information Request
7,000 companies are required to complete the CDP Supplier Information Request each year by their key customers. This questionnaire requires analysis of climate change risks and the calculation of greenhouse gas emissions. We have over 6 years' experience of advising clients and pulling together the data to answer this questionnaire.
Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)
Due to the heavy reliance on fossil fuels, there's a big overlap of carbon and energy. And this is reflected in legislation such as the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme. Xcarbon can provide a complete ESOS compliance service.
Adaptation to climate change
With little prospect of global greenhouse gas emissions falling sufficiently in the next decade or so, forward-thinking organisations are asking themselves the question: How will we be affected by climate change? Xcarbon can undertake climate change risk assessments as well as help develop and implement an adaptation strategy.
